soy sauce

1/3 c.

rice wine

2 tbsp.

gochujang (Korean pepper paste)

1 tbsp.

toasted sesame seeds


medium onion, sliced


cloves garlic, smashed


scallions, chopped

2 lb.

country-style ribs (about 12 ribs)

  1. In large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice wine, brown sugar, and gochujang. Stir in sesame seeds, onion, garlic, and scallions. 
  2. Add ribs, turn to coat and refrigerate, covered, at least 2 hours and up to overnight. 
  3. Heat grill to medium-high. Remove ribs from marinade and grill until just cooked through, 4 to 5 minutes per side.
